What you will be doing
We are seeking a skilled Systems Administrator to join our IT team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and maintaining our environment, ensuring the stability, security, and efficiency of our cloud and on-premises infrastructure. This role involves handling VM upgrades, patching, backup management, disaster recovery, and more.
SYSTEMS ADMINISTRATOR DUTIES
Manage and maintain Azure Local (Azure Stack HCI) environments.
Perform VM upgrades and patching using Azure Update Manager.
Utilize Azure ARC for hybrid cloud management.
Oversee backup management and disaster recovery planning.
Manage infrastructure components including DNS, DHCP, and Active Directory.
Ensure the security of the environment through regular monitoring and updates.
Handle certificate management and renewals.
Collaborate with the IT team to implement and maintain security best practices.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Azure infrastructure.
Document processes and procedures for system administration tasks.
Be available for work outside of regular business hours and respond to emergency situations as needed.

What you bring to the table
Completed post-secondary education in a relevant field
Proven experience as a Systems Administrator with a focus on Azure
Strong knowledge of Azure services, including VM management, Azure Update Manager, and Azure ARC
Experience with DNS, DHCP, Active Directory, and certificate management
Familiarity with backup and disaster recovery solutions
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Strong communication and teamwork abilities
