What you will be doing

This position is responsible for answering the switchboard and representing Gerrie Electric in a professional manner in both direct and indirect contact with customers, suppliers, and employees as well as helping with office clerical functions.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES 

Answer telephone promptly and pleasant, and relay calls to the proper destination

Take messages as required

Maintain knowledge of staff whereabouts

Greet visitors courteously and direct them accordingly

Maintain an organized and tidy Reception area

Assist with preparing written/typed documents to manager and staff as required

Maintain fax machine, send faxes and distribute incoming faxes as required 

Ensure that filing is kept up to date

Photocopy materials, as per requests 

Ensure timely completion of any/all special projects as may be assigned by management

Provide POD’s for customer and suppliers

Match PRP’s with PO’s

Prepare bank deposits and cash bundles

Enter debits

Prepare Status reports

What you bring to the table

High School diploma required

Must have a proven track record Previous experience in a similar role is a definite asset 

Ability to Ability to multi-task while maintaining order is a must 

Excellent written and verbal communication skills is required 

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
