What you will be doing
This position is responsible for answering the switchboard and representing Gerrie Electric in a professional manner in both direct and indirect contact with customers, suppliers, and employees as well as helping with office clerical functions.Â

Answer telephone promptly and pleasant, and relay calls to the proper destinationÂ
Take messages as requiredÂ
Maintain knowledge of staff whereaboutsÂ
Greet visitors courteously and direct them accordinglyÂ
Maintain an organized and tidy Reception areaÂ
Assist with preparing written/typed documents to manager and staff as requiredÂ
Maintain fax machine, send faxes and distribute incoming faxes as required Â
Ensure that filing is kept up to dateÂ
Photocopy materials, as per requests Â
Ensure timely completion of any/all special projects as may be assigned by managementÂ
Provide POD’s for customer and suppliersÂ
Match PRP’s with PO’sÂ
Prepare bank deposits and cash bundlesÂ
Enter debitsÂ
Prepare Status reportsÂ
What you bring to the table
High School diploma requiredÂ
Must have a proven track record Previous experience in a similar role is a definite asset Â
Ability to Ability to multi-task while maintaining order is a must Â
Excellent written and verbal communication skills is required Â
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite Â
